The new Bentayga Speed High Speed Test | Bentley

Designed, engineered and handcrafted in Great Britain, the new Bentayga Speed is the most powerful and performance-oriented Bentayga to date. It builds on a long tradition of Speed models that was born with the Continental GT in 2007 and pushes the boundaries of Bentayga performance further. Watch this film to see Bentayga Speed achieve 190mph in our high speed test conducted on a closed track.
Learn more about Bentayga Speed:

It features an enhanced 635 PS (626 bhp) version of the renowned 6.0-litre W12 engine that delivers a top speed of 190 mph (306 km/h) and 0–62 mph (0–100 km/h) in 3.9 seconds.

About Bentayga Speed
Bentayga Speed has dark-tint headlights, body-coloured side skirts and a striking tailgate spoiler hint at the SUV’s performance credentials.

Dark-tint radiator and bumper grilles, a unique 22-inch wheel design available in three finishes and Speed signature badging add to the sporting design cues.

Inside, there are elegantly crafted ‘swooshes’ around the door and door grab, on the edge of the seat cushions and backrest bolsters, and on the lower console; a new contrast stitching on the diamond quilting; discreet Speed badging; a Speed illuminated treadplate signature; and the use of Alcantara for the first time in a Bentayga.
Customers can personalise Bentayga Speed to their own requirements with a range of exclusive options including carbon ceramic brakes, carbon fibre fascia panels, Bentley rear-seat entertainment (RSE) and mood lighting.

A greater exhaust character during start up and gear downshifts combines with a firmer suspension set-up to further enhance the driver experience.

Bentayga’s permanent all-wheel drive offers class-leading handling and go-anywhere ability, while powerful ceramic brakes are also an option.

The ceramic brakes are the largest and most powerful ever fitted to a Bentley, with a maximum braking toque of 6,000 Nm and engineered to withstand temperatures up to 1,000 °C. They also save more than 20 kg over iron brakes.

This is the story of Bentley Motors. Since 1919, the company has created the world’s finest grand tourers for its extraordinary customers.

From the moment that a simple aluminium paperweight inspired W.O. Bentley to build a lighter engine, Bentley’s cars have combined engineering innovation with unrivalled craftsmanship, to stunning effect. Throughout the 1920s, Bentley triumphed in some of Europe’s most testing races. A legion of daring customers – the Bentley Boys and the Bentley Girls – pushed the company to create ever faster cars, dominating the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans.
