Koenigsegg´s new megacar is named after Christians father Jesko. This interview was recorded before Jesko knew that Koenigsegg would name the new model after him. Jesko just turned 80 years old at the end of 2018.

Koenigsegg Jesko - Debuts at Geneva Motor Show 2019
The all-new Koenigsegg Jesko made an emotional debut at the 2019 Geneva International Motor Show. The car is named for Jesko von Koenigsegg, father of founder and CEO, Christian von Koenigsegg.
The Koenigsegg Jesko has a twin-turbo V8 producing 1280hp on regular gasoline. It produces 1600hp on E85.
Jesko features a new Koenigsegg-developed 9-speed gearbox featuring 20-millisecond shifting between ANY gears.
With a maximum 1400kg of downforce, Jesko will be the ultimate road-legal track weapon. A sister model with less downforce and more focus on top speed is also available.

Koenigsegg Agera RS Nevada High Speed Run 0-400-0
The Koenigsegg Agera RS driven by Niklas Lilja achieves a new world record time of 33.29 seconds for 0-400-0 km/h run. All timing data recorded independently by Racelogic.
The run was made on a section of Highway 160 outside of Pahrump, Nevada, in the United States. The highway was closed with the cooperation of local authorities for the purpose of this run.
Koenigsegg Agera RS - NEW WORLD RECORD - Fastest production car in the world
The Koenigsegg Agera RS driven by Niklas Lilja achieves a new world record top speed for a road-legal production vehicle.
High speed runs were conducted on a closed section of US Highway 160 near Pahrump, Nevada, on November 4th 2017. Runs were made in both directions to compensate for any variation in topography and prevailing wind.
The Agera RS achieved a new top speed record for a production vehicle, being 446.97 km/h (277.87 mph) when averaged out over both runs.
All vehicle data was recorded independently by Racelogic and the film above is taken directly from the Racelogic system, with data overlaid for video presentation.
Koenigsegg Agera RS 0-400-0
On October 1st, 2017, a Koenigsegg Agera RS drove from 0 km/h to 400 km/h and back to 0 in 36.44 seconds. The Agera RS was driven by Niklas Lilja and the run was made at an airfield in Vandel, Denmark. #0-400-0
